My first time to the park

Soooo I went with my mom's friend Trisha and my buddy Tommy to Jetton Park which is on Lake Norman, its a BIG lake. We walked around, went on the swings and slide and played with our toys on the blanket. Tommy is older and can walk, it seems like everyone is bigger than me! I still had a lot of fun, I'm ready to go back mommy.....

I like my new ExerSaucer....

This is pretty cool and I can spin around in circles and play with sooo many toys too. My mom is a good bargain shopper, only $10 for this thing!

What's With the Pacifier??

Maybe its my two new teeth that have popped through. I was cranky and it hurt but now I have two "choppers" as my mom and dad call them. They are hard to see, but they are there!

I was in a particularly good mood one morning just hanging out and having fun with my stuffed friends in my crib!

My 6 Month Baby Wellness Check-up

Just call me String Bean because that is what I am. Here are the stats the doctor gave to my mom:

Length: 28 inches ~ 90-95th percentile
Weight: 16 pounds 3 ounces ~ just over 25th percentile
Head Circumference: 17 1/4 inches ~ 50th percentile

So I am long and skinny......I eat all of my food but I just can't pack on the pounds......we'll see how much bigger I am in 3 months....Bye for now!

Hoppy "My 1st" Easter

When I woke up yesterday morning someone named the Easter Bunny left me a basket with some treats inside. I got a book, activity play mat, a card and a stuffed blue bunny. My mom and dad got a few candy treats too.

Then they had a nice Easter dinner with ham, potatoes, corn, corn bread and dessert. All I got to eat was PEAS......tonight my mom says I get to try green beans.....I hope they are better than PEAS!

My Vacation

For my age (only 6 mo old) I am considered a SEASONED traveler. I flew on an airplane for the 3rd time to Florida with my mom to see my grandma and pappa. The people on the airplane did not like me all that much (I guess a crying baby on a plane is not fun?) but grandma and pappa were SOOO excited to see me so that made up for all of the angry looks we got on the airplane. My uncle Bob was with us too. Here are some pictures of me having fun and going to the beach for the first time.

Well since we have moved from Michigan to North Carolina, I thought I would let my friends know what I have been doing......

I eat my rice cereal in my high chair, I am rolling over and over all through the house and I think I have a tooth coming through my gums because they hurt a lot and it feels good when I chew on my fingers or anything else I put in my mouth....

I miss all of my friends - Myles, Cooper, Trent and those really cute girls Vanessa and Lauren ;)

My Half Birthday

I am half way to eating a cake all by myself! Well my mom tells me I will have my own cake on my first birthday. Whatever that is, it sounds yummy and I can't wait :)

Oh What a Day.....

I have been very busy these past few weeks. I had to give my toys and crib to these men who packed up all of my things, I only had a few sets of clothes to wear (again - all of my things were packed away), so when my mommy put me in my friend Vanessa's high chair, I just could not take it any more and decided to take a small nap. I guess everyone laughed and took a few pictures of me. I was a good egg about it all, I woke up soon after and cried like the dickens for awhile. That will show them to take my picture while I am resting :)

My Big Blue Bear - a.k.a Growth-Chart Bear

My grandma Burma bought me this bear so my mom can chart how much I am growing. Look how big I have gotten in 4 months. I think he is a pretty cool bear. One day my mom says I will be bigger than him, but I really can't imagne that now.....

My New Buddy

My mommy's friend Amy came over with my new buddy - Myles. We played, he mostly played and I looked around. Myles is older and a lot bigger than me so I did not do a lot. We all had a great time together!!

My Jumperoooooooo!!

I really enjoy my new activity toy - my Jumperoo. My grandma Jeanne bought it for me :) I laugh A LOT when I get in it.

Rice Cereal.....

I've been pretty busy these past few days. Turning 4 months old, going to the doctor, getting a few shots :( and now a new food thing called rice cereal. I like the bottle but now my mom puts this round "spoon" thing into my mouth with milky stuff in it. I did OK, I ate a lot of it off of the spoon. Who knows what will happen next....later dudes!!

My Baby Wellness Update

Today I had my 4 month baby wellness checkup and shots! I did pretty good, I only cried for about a minute. Here is where I am at:



14 pounds - 50th percentile in weight

25 3/4 inches long - 75th percentile in height/length

41 cm head measurement



I can start this new stuff called rice cereal and then other new foods soon after. My mom is excited, it is supposed to help me sleep all through the night - she hopes :) but she says it can be messy feeding me - yeah! messy!!



So overall I am growing and doing very good according to my doctor.

At 4 Months Now!

I am already 4 months old, can you believe that? I made some new friends this past weekend.

This is my first day into 2007 and its been great so far. Last night my mom & dad had some friends over and she woke me up at 11:55 PM to watch a ball drop, people scream and sing and kiss?? I was none too excited and I was fed & back in bed by 12:30 AM. Happy New Year!!

Merry "My 1st" Christmas

I had my very first Christmas and I must say, it was as exciting as a full tummy and a good nap, sheer joy and happiness!

My BUMBO seat

I I tried out my new BUMBO seat today. I only sat in it for a minute, I can't sit up on my own yet, but my mom says pretty soon...I think this is pretty cool.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

I met this really neat man named Santa Clause. My mom says that he brings presents to children who are good all year long, I'll be waiting to see if I get anything from him, so far I've been a very good boy for my mom and dad.
